Ergonomic Ease

  Keep Your Wrist Flat

Every professional ergonomist will preach to you the health benefits of keeping your wrist flat. It is best if you have an articulating keyboard that can be tilted negatively (rear down, front up).

This keyboard features:
  • A total of 10° negative adjustment
  • (5° positive adjustment)

This allows
  • the wrist to flatten out
  • upper & lower arm angle to open up

Proper Positioning

Adjusting your desk and keyboard to the correct height is essential to achieving comfortable monitor viewing positions.

The figure to the right illustrates:
  • keyboard positioned in vertical height
  • comfortable viewing angle for the neck
  • head tilted at 10-20° without muscle strain or fatigue

The Reach Radius

The Reach Radius is the "comfortable extension of the arm while leaning slightly" to procure work materials at the InterActive Desk. If the desk is designed correctly one does not have to strain while reaching for objects. Straining to grab a heavy object can lead to muscle injury.
